Serious Recomendations
1. Do not over trade big-time, or trade during Asian Session. Most of the best setups with proper follow-thru occur after the London session opens. You shouldn't trade more than 5 trades a week. Look for quality setups, not quantity.
2. Dot not add to a losing position. With the advent of Scout trades and PVSRA, there is the temptation to do so. No matter the results of a good PVSRA, it is recommended that you not do this.
3. Your SL must wide enough to for the price to breathe. If you put it too tight, the chance of getting your SL hit is very high even though the price eventually goes in the direction you wanted. For example, I recommend you use a SL of up to 100 pips when trading EURUSD.

2013 Upgrade Release of Sonic R. System Indicators & TemplatesAttached are the latest TAH indicators and templates for the Sonic R. System. Download the zip file. Extract it to yield the two folders for black and white charts that contain the files for the indicators and templates. Paste the indicator files into the MT4/experts/indicators folder. Paste the template files into the MT4/templates folder. Restart your MT4 application.

A brief description of some changes follows the headings below for each indicator. For more complete information on changes, as well as on basic features and definitions, you must read the user notes at the top of the compiles of each indicator. The user notes have been meticulously written to instruct and to inform, and so to void any necessity to answer questions about the indicators. Be advised: read the user notes and experiment with the External Inputs instead of asking questions!

Once the indicators are installed into MT4 you can access the user notes. In the main MT4 window there is a yellow diamond icon with "i" in it. Click on it to open the MetaEditor, where you will find a list on the right that includes "indicators", where you will find the indicators you want to "open" in order to see the user notes at the top of indicator compile (code). Double click on any such indicator in the list and the code for it will appear in the MetaEditor window. You can scroll down the code to view. You will find user notes near the top of the compile, which is followed by a description of changes since the last release.

Control Panel
Many changes have been made. Read the user notes and the description of changes below the user notes. Highlights are: swap rates are added to the Panel, for forex trading you have the option of displaying the fractional pip downsized, the Clock Panel can be turned off, the special Bid Line/Dot placement is determined by the chart zoom setting used in either the Filled Dragon indicator or the PVA Candles indicator, and the Scale lines are deleted. Charting lines won't overrun the Panel. Code runs faster.

FFCAL Panel
This can be placed at either the lower right or lower left corner of the main chart window or the first chart subwindow. Charting lines won't overrun the Panel.

Filled Dragon
This replaces the Solid Dragon-Trend and is essentially the same indicator, but with a different name and still includes the Trend. Transferred configurations are deleted. The color filling is modified slightly for improved appearance. Most importantly, the chart zoom feature now can control the bar widths of all three indicators using bar widths, which need to change as you zoom in/out on a chart. It is critical that you learn from the user notes in this indicator, and in the next two indicators, how to change bar widths properly so that all indicators with hard code variables that differ depending on the chart zoom setting will receive the proper chart zoom setting signal and use the correct variables.

PVA Candles
This replaces the VSA Candlesticks indicator. It provides bull/bear coloring for the "rising" volume situations and applies "climax" coloring to extreme "rising" volume situations. Bar widths can be controlled from the Filled Dragon indicator. If the Filled Dragon indicator is not used, the PVA Candles indicator can control bar widths and can provide the chart zoom signal that other indicators require to execute their code properly.

PVA Volumes
This replaces the VSA Histogram indicator. It provides bull/bear coloring for the "rising" volume situations and applies "climax" coloring to extreme "rising" volume situations. The "climax" alert is improved. Bar widths can be controlled from either the Filled Dragon indicator or the PVA Candles indicator.

Trade Levels
This replaces the need for MT4 trade level lines. Based on manually input values, the indicator provides lines for EPs, average of EPs, TPs and SLs. The lines are color coded, include price labels, and make for a cleaner chart. The placement of lines and labels is determined by the chart zoom setting used in either the Filled Dragon indicator or the PVA Candles indicator.

Sonic R. System Trades and PVSRA

Sonic R. System Trades
The entry for the Sonic R. System setup is called a “Classic” entry. After the initial Classic entry, there are sometimes pullbacks which set up the opportunity for “re-entries”. There are at times early in a price reversal that a Classic setup has not yet formed but price action alone suggests an entry opportunity. Such an early entry to a reversal is called a “Scout” entry, and two examples of pure price action that support a Scout entry are: 1) a suitable pattern of H/Ls, and 2) a break out from a consolidation area. The least risky application of the Sonic R. System is to use PVSRA to determine if the price moving entities are bulls or bears and have turned the price to start making profits, and then trade Classics and Scouts only in that appropriate direction.

PVSRA
PVSRA stands for Price, Volume, Support, Resistance Analysis. Price includes consideration of individual candlestick configurations as well as the pattern, or flow of price action in general. Volume (count of trades on the broker server) that increases notably relative to immediately preceding volumes is what to look for. Support and resistance refers primarily to the quarter divisions between whole numbers, with whole numbers, half numbers and finally the 1/4 and 3/4 numbers being important in that order. Other support and resistance areas formed by past price action are also to be considered.
The premise behind the analysis is that those entities that move prices have established habits. When the price moving entities are bulls they like to move prices below key S&R to do their buying. When they are bears they like to move prices above key S&R to do their selling. So, we can determine if the price moving entities are bulls or bears by finding out where (above or below key S&R) they are doing most of their trading. Once we determine the bull/bear status of the price moving entities, we can analyze futher to see if they are in a "position building" mode, or if they are in a "run for profits" mode. It is the "run for profits" mode that we want to trade.

Bulls can repeatedly move prices down for buying (position building) before they start moving prices up for profit, but even during their run up for profits they can repeatedly pull prices back down to add more longs (trading opportunity). Bears can repeatedly move prices up for selling (position building) before they start moving prices down for profits, but even during their run down for profits they can repeatedly pull prices back up to add more shorts (trading opportunity). We can determine if these entities are bulls or bears, but we cannot know when they will finish position building and turn prices in the profit making direction. To avoid getting trapped in a prolonged position building phase by these entities, it is best to wait for a trading opportunity in the run for profit phase instead.

There are clues as to which mode, position building or profit making, the price moving entities are in. For example, if they are bulls and prices are generally falling and they are doing most of their trading below key S&R and other lows, then they are position building. If prices are generally rising and they are doing most of their trading below key S&R and other lows on pullbacks, then they are running the price for profits. Now if they are bears and prices are generally rising and they are doing most of their trading above key S&R and other highs, then they are position building. If prices are generally falling and they are doing most of their trading above key S&R and other highs on pullbacks, then they are running the price for profits.

The various colors used by the PVA Candles and PVA Volumes indicators (and regardless of the actual color), denote when notable increases in volume occur to help you conduct your PVSRA to determine if the price moving entities are bulls or bears, and if they are position building or making a run for profits.Final NoteMy thanks to the selected Sonicers that helped field test during the final stage before this release: DmitryFX, Hansma, JRissa, Redddz, revoli, Sonic, Tymedu and zohaib. I also thank those Sonicers that promptly reported issues related to the 05-20-2013 release. This new release supercedes that one. It incorporates changes that correct the MT4 slow down that some experienced, as well as some additional changes. Once again, I admonish all Sonicers to fully and carefully read the user notes in the compiles of each indicator. Below are some examples of how your charts will look when you do things correctly.

Acknowledgements
I wish to express my sincere appreciation of CaveMan for his generous contribution to TzPivots coding and of Kent (Pips4Life) for his excellent Clock indicator. Were it not for the coding of these two gentlemen our Control Panel would not be half what it is. Thank you, CaveMan. Thank you, Kent.
